The district’s web filter provides a portal for staff to utilize for testing a website’s Allow/Block status. This allows teachers to test websites they wish to use with their students before asking students to access them. If a site is blocked they can easily make a request to have the website unblocked. The Technology Team will typically have the site unblocked within 24 hours.

ACCESSING THE PORTAL

  1. In your web browser, goto http://webfilter.raiderweb.org/portal

  2. Sign in using your district username and password (same one you use to sign into your computer)

TESTING A WEBSITE

  1. Once signed into the portal, click Policy Tester

  2. In the Policy Tester form, enter the website URL and

    click Test

If the site is blocked you can can click the Request Unblock button to make a request to the Technology Team to have the site unblocked. Please try give the team a 24 hour notice.
