Anytime you feel that your password may have been compromised the first thing you want to do is change your password. The instructions below will guide you through changing your password.

Before you get started determine what you will use as your new password. It is always a good idea to use a minimum of 8 characters. Be sure to use a combination of lowercase, UPPERCASE, symbols, and numbers. Make your password something easy for you to remember, but difficult for someone else to figure out.
Remember that changing your Active Directory password will also change your password for other systems. These included, PowerSchool/PowerTeacher, Email, GoogleDrive, and AirWatch.

Macintosh Users

  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Click on User & Groups
  3. Click the Change Password
  4. Enter you old password (once) and your new password (twice).

Windows Users

  1. Once you are sign in, press Control+Alt+Delete
  2. Choose Change a Password
  3. Enter you old password (once) and your new password (twice).
